VP Client Services
A young, funded, and profitable Internet startup is looking for dynamic, self-motivated and adept client services manager who will lead the continual improvement and development of our major clientele. FreeCause.com, founded in mid-2006 by a group of MIT alumni, develops unique, free applications to unlock the value of affinity relationships, spanning non-profits, political campaigns and national sports teams.
Responsibilities
This person will be the face of FreeCause to all of our major clientele, such as the Susan G. Komen foundation, American Lung Association, Republican National Committee, and many more. Being a fast moving company, this job requires a self-starting individual who has that finesse and charisma to get the following jobs done.
- Up-selling and renewing existing clients
- Ensuring clients have all of the tools and knowledge to run successful marketing initiatives for our products
- Spearhead organic client growth through referrals
- Converting your client relationship into a pipeline of product development initiatives
- Creating and managing new client publications
- Ensure that Marketing knows about any major launches or effectual changes in relationships
Requirements
Must haves
- BS or Masters (MBA preferred) in Business/Economics
- 3 or more years experience in a Client Services, Consumer Marketing, or Management Consulting role
- Strong project management experience culminating in client success
- Client services team leadership experiences
- Demonstrated the ability to maintain and add value to long term client relationshiops
- Knowledge of web technologies, and high level of comfort with technology
Some extras that will get you noticed
- 2+ years Direct Sales experience
- Strong writing skills
- Experience with Non-Profits, either as a volunteer or working directly
- Willingness to become immersed in an intense work culture
- Previous start up experiences
